As a Seattle native I grew up with a passion for health and healing. This lead me to Tucson in 1999 where I attended the Desert Institute of Healing Arts. After a very short time here in the desert I knew I was home.
There is nothing more beautiful than a brisk November morning in Tucson. I love to take my little dog Nailah out to Catalina State Park where we can explore the wide open spaces. It warms my heart to see her smile as she races the bunnies and chases lizards.
I am a certified massage therapist with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and a Bachelors degree in Holistic Health. I am licensed in the state of Arizona to practice both massage therapy and acupuncture. I am also nationally certified as a Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator.
As a faculty of the Cortiva Maternity and Infant Massage Program I have the opportunity to travel nationally teaching continuing education for professional massage therapists looking to deepen their understanding of massage for the childbearing year. I am also a faculty member at the Asian Institute of Medical Studies in Tucson Az .
From December of 2001-November of 2005 I owned and operated Catalina Foothills Wellness Center located in Northwest Tucson. I sold the company in 2005 to allow myself more freedom to work one on one with patients.
